I'm a little behind on posting what we were up to in March. The super short version isn't surprising: school and soccer. Let's jump right in to photos...

Bryce is really in to playing the keeper position and actively asks to play there. He typically plays keeper for a half of every game. I would rather him be on the field running since that works those lungs of his better, but I'm trying really hard not to insert my opinion into his passions.

This is the only photo I took of Jordyn at her game. I was probably socializing instead of taking pictures!

A celebratory jump after scored his first goal in over a year!
Seriously...look at that happy face. He was so excited. Even more exciting that shortly after this goal he scored ANOTHER goal!!

You don't see a lot of smiles on the soccer field from Sydney's team. Not because they aren't having fun, but because they typically have on their Game Faces. I caught Sydney smiling at her friend who came to watch the game.

Incoming ball...prepping for a header.

Excuse me girl in white...coming through.
Unfortunately the girls lost this game. Their first loss of the season.

Both girls bracing for impact!

I'll take that ball thank you very much.
This game was tough and sadly our girls came up short. They played awesome and were tied almost to the very end when the other team got a break away to score. This was a really tough game. Remember the pre-season tournament they won? Well, this was the team that we beat to win the tournament so I knew going in to the game it was going to be an intense one so the loss stung a little. I think what really added to the loss was the behavior of the other team's parents. I would say that were pretty classless, which from time-to-time we do come across some teams that have parents with zero class. My guess is anytime we play this team in the future the play will be pretty intense and I'll make a note to sit as far away from the other team's parents as possible!!

Heading towards the goal...

Success! I wish his face was in better focus, but you can still see that big smile. He ended up scoring TWO goals in this game.

Here comes the sun...

I really wish these photos were crisper, but I'm clearly not a professional photographer! This is Sydney after scoring her SECOND goal of the game, which I recently learned is called a brace. I love how the entire team on the field came up to celebrate with her. I adore this group of girls! Honey and Papa were at the field to witness this exciting moment as well. They won this game 3 to 1. It was a very physical game with the refs calling very little. During the game one of Sydney team mates rolled her ankle and another ended up with a concussion.
After the game we headed home to quickly get cleaned up for Easter service at church. Usually before we head to church I get a spring family photo, but it was raining so we decide to postpone our photo. Pop, Joey and Katie joined us for a fabulous Easter service. We loved having them all at church with us. Afterwards we headed home and had ourselves a yummy cookout. I didn't take one photo of our Easter celebration from Saturday so just imagine it in your head.

We had a relaxing Easter morning, which was a nice change of pace for us. The kids sorted through their baskets while Bryan and I enjoyed our coffee. Later that afternoon we headed to Honey and Papa's house for lunch and an egg hunt.
Cousins!
Papa and Honey with their grand-babies.

Jay came by for a random visit, which turned into some outdoor play time. Of course! It was the perfect time for me to try out some new camera settings. I am working on making my action shots better. I think these turned out okay, but my lighting/color was a little off.
Jump.
Electric scooter jumps.
Jumping over Sydney. Eek.
Serious bike ride.

Bryce continued to truck right along with his Tobi treatments all month. I'm happy to report we weren't late for school one time, but we did come close!
