Each fall we make an attempt at taking family photos. Some years are better than others. It's also getting trickier and trickier to find a time to do them because of our schedule. This year's photo shoot was a spur-of-the-moment decision made after lunch, but before a soccer game and they turned out to be some of our best photos yet.
I quickly threw together coordinating outfits, we got dressed, fixed hair and out the door we went. We have never had professional family photos taken. I just take them myself. I have a nice camera and a tri-pod so no need for me to pay someone else to do it. I'm sure professional photos would look a million times better, but I think we do a pretty good job on our own.
Only a few shots can make the Christmas card and it was so hard deciding which pictures to use this year because almost every single photo was good. So - since I couldn't put them all on one card I'll share the photos with you here. Otherwise no one will ever see them!!
This one made the Christmas card.
I blew this one up in B&W (30 x 20) to hang in our dining room.
I love everything about this photo.

This one made the card because...this is us.
Always being silly to make our kids laugh.
