It's Friday!!
Of course we headed to the pool and guess what...it was SUNNY and HOT!! Perfect pool weather and the water was oh. so. refreshing.
We met up with our usual Pool Friday crew: my mom, my Aunt Bonnie, the Mullinax's and we had some new comers to the party...our friends the Howe girls came to play too!! What a fun afternoon full of swimming, food, ice cream, water balloons and water guns. Oh and us mom's had a nice time chatting each other up.
After getting home we had about an hour of rest before Bryce and I headed out to his karate class!! He took a trial class on Wednesday and LOVED it. More importantly Bryan and I LOVED it because it is exactly what Bryce needs as far as learning a little more self-control and focus. Since the trial class he had to do 5 tasks around the house without being asked to earn the white belt. The tasks he completed were doing his night and morning vest treatments, brushed his teeth, made his bed and got buckled in the car all without being told. That's progress friends and let me tell you...he was so stinking proud walking into his class tonight to turn in his paper with the 5 tasks written on it.
