This is Bryce Porter Tomerlin.
Bryce passed away on Monday February 25, 2013 from a procedure to address complications with his Cystic Fibrosis. He came out of the surgery well, but that all quickly changed a few days later when he was rushed to the ER and admitted to the ICU due to his electrolytes being all out of balance. This is something that can happen to anyone, but happens more often to kids with underlying chronic illnesses.
I've had a hard time concentrating on pretty much anything this week because my mind has continually been on the Tomerlin family. Tomorrow is the viewing for Bryce and his service will be on Saturday. I ask that you continue to keep this family; Jennifer, Nathan, Brianna (big sister 4yrs) and their extended family in your prayers as they try to find peace in all of this.
I wanted to share a few of Bryce's photos with you. Social media and blogs are how us CF parents keep in touch with each other. Based on the hilarious stories and sweet pictures Jennifer would share with us online, I know that this precious boy brought joy to everyone around him.
A fellow CF mom put together this picture video of Bryce. It clearly shows his big personality, his love for life and his love for his family.
