For the time being our baby girl has retired her dancing shoes and replaced them with bare feet so she can work on cartwheels, handstands and flips.
Before Bryce was born both girls were in gymnastics, but I ended up pulling them out after he was born for the mere fact we had a lot on our plate at the time. Since then, Sydney has found her love for soccer, but Jordyn has continually talked about gymnastics. So after finishing up our dance commitment for the year she expressed that she would now like to try gymnastics.
We signed her up for an unlimited summer class program at North Metro Gymnastics. We have been twice now and I am very impressed with this place. My friend Amy highly recommended them and I am glad she did. It's a difference of night and day from the last location we used.
Jordyn listens well and tries hard. She has some work to do to catch up to some of the other girls though. She is so eager to learn I don't think it will take her long to pick up some of the basics the other girls already know.
Running towards the spring board.
Look at that toe point!
Balancing on the beam.
She was really good at this!
