A Glimpse into Life With CF...

A Facebook friend of mine who lives out in California posted this video (click here to view) on her FB page. Her daughter Karsyn, who is about 2 months younger than Bryce also has CF. This video gives a glimpse into the life of a CFer. Bryce has been fortunate enough to have a healthy first year, but at any given moment things could change for him. I don't know what the future holds for Bryce as far as his Cystic Fibrosis goes, but this video shows what could be in store for him and for other little CFers like Karsyn. To date Bryce takes daily enzyme pills before every meal, daily vitamins specifically made for a CFer, and half tablet of Prevacid each morning to help control his acid reflux. On average he takes 10 to 12 enzyme pills a day. He wears his vest for 30 minutes a day and as of yesterday started breathing treatments to help with the congestion that started 2 days ago. It's that time of year!!!
