"Only Child" Fall Break Vacation (and other September Stuff)

Now that both the girls are off at college, Bryce is living the only child life. He is so lucky to get all of my undivided attention and he loves it so much! We took our "only child" to Universal for Fall Break mid September. He said he thought it would be weird to go on vacation with just the three of us and it was a bit odd not having at least one of the girls with us, BUT we had so much fun! Universal was a blast. It is nothing like Disney so I don't think you can really compare them at all. 

The night before we left for Universal, Jordyn drove home so she could go to a Korn concert with Bryce and I. Jordyn is a huge fan (she gets it from her mama) so when I saw they were coming to town I knew I had to get tickets. This was Korn's 30th anniversary tour and it did not disappoint. The kids and I had a blast, but man was I tired the next morning when the alarm went off at 5:00am to catch a flight to Orlando. I do not function on little sleep these days!

And, while I have you here...I'll share some photos of the girls at school during September, which  includes lots of football game photos. 

As you can see, Jordyn is having a blast and has made some really great friends. 

And I know it is shocking to see Sydney at a Tennessee game, but her boyfriend, Ryan, is a Tennesee fan (his whole family is) soooo she has been to a game or two, BUT she promises me she doesn't fully rock the orange. She's a Dawg for life.
