November was another busy month for us. Bryce had his last clinic of the year. I don't talk about his CF stuff as much these days, but know that things are going very well for him. Lung function is excellent!
And the news of the month, results of the presidental election. Guess what...the good guys won!
Bye! Sorry, not sorry.
More football games for the girls. Sydney and Ryan went to Athens for the GA vs TN game. Love that my girls got to see each other and love that we beat TN. Sorry Ryan (he's a TN fan)!

Jordyn's roommate - Molly.
Lexi came up from Jax State one weekend to watch some football with Jordyn.
One major happening during the month was we had to get new siding on our house. Ouch. This project was on our list of to-dos, but we weren't planning on it so soon. We had a woodpecker that had been working on the side of our house for a while now. Well, the little stinker finally busted through our siding and started setting up shop inside the wall of the house so this expensive projeect was moved up on the time line. Since we were having to replace our siding it was the perfect time change the color of our house. We said goodbye to the UGLY tan/cream/yellow/khaki color we had and opted for a really light gray...almost looks white. The house looks light and fresh now!
My birthday is in November so reluctantly I celebrated. The last year of my 40's has begun. CRAZY!
Sydney surprised me on my actual birthday with a visit. She walked in the door with Dunkin coffee and donuts. This made my entire day! The next night we had some cake and good laughs with the family.
49 years of me.
Thanksgiving day was an absolute whirwind. Due to Sydney's work schedule she was only home for maybe 36 hours so we had to fit a lot of stuff into one single day. We bought and decorated our tree, we took family photos for our Christmas card and I hosted lunch for the family. The only photo I took from Thanksgiving lunch was of my parents and the grandkids, which they used on their Christmas card.
I get the kids an ornament every year that go along with big events for them during the year. Once they move out they can take all their ornaments with them so they have a start to their own collection. Jordyn got a UGA ornament and a HS grad ornament.
Sydney got a pink cowboy hat and a doberman ornament. She said she wanted a doberman puppy for Christmas so...I got her one. haha!
The last weekend of November my mom hosted a gingerbread decorating party for the kids. Sydney and Jordyn were back at school so they didn't decorate theirs until December. I added in their photos too to keep them all together.
This is Bryce's friend, Riley. She is also a soccer keeper! They've known each other since they were little and going to keeper practice together. Now they both play at different clubs, but have remained friends over the years.
That takes care of November. Family photos and Bryce's fall soccer season will come in their own posts.
