Keeping Up With The Joneses: DOUBLE DIGITS!!

Happy 10th Birthday to Bryce!!

My baby is double digits. He doesn't like it when I call him "my baby", but I told him that even when he is my age I will call him that. I guess that is one of the perks of being the youngest

Bryce is still one of the happiest people I know. Well, unless he is being told to read or clean his room or that his tablet/TV time is up or that he has to eat something other than cereal. He will befriend anyone and everyone. I admire how friendly and outgoing he is. He has a heart of gold, a big personality and more energy than anyone I have ever come across. He is by far our most challenging child to parent, but even in those times of intensity he can crack a joke or smile and all my parenting frustrations melt away. Life is definitely not boring with Bryce around and I look forward to what he has in store for us in the future. If the next 10 to 15 years are anything like his first 10 I'm pretty sure Bryan and I are in for one wild ride!

We celebrated Bryce's double digit birthday by the pool of course. The morning of the party it was storming and the weather for the day wasn't looked great so I was worried we might have to cancel the party. The sky cleared and we ended up having perfect weather! Thank you to the friends and family that celebrated with us yesterday and thank you to my parents who always let us take over their house in the summer for parties.
