Christmas has come and gone. It was a blur as usual. The day after Christmas we packed up all the decorations and got the house back to normal.
Our celebrations started Christmas Eve with my side of the family. We did our usual breakfast for dinner and shared several laughs along with some tears. Joey and Katie brought the dogs with them, which the kids absolutely loved. They are fostering a 5-month-old puppy right now and everyone has pretty much fallen in love with this little dog. I think Sydney held him majority of the night.
Chloe opened her own gift!
This brought some laughs. There is a story behind this.
Jordyn painted this butterfly for Joey and Katie in remembrance of our tiny angel, Bauer. The photo doesn't do it much justice...it's beautiful. I'll have to do a post on some of Jordyn's paintings and sketches. She is quite the artist!
This is Chance and he is even cuter in person.
Christmas morning is always a blur. Santa gifts, sugary goodness breakfast, under the tree gifts and then hustle to get ourselves out the door for lunch with my dad's side of the family.
Jordyn approved of the gift Bryce got her. He picked it out all on his own.
Jordyn bought everyone gifts with her own money!
She got me these slippers.
These girls love them some Stranger Things.
Bryce got Sydney a candle that says: "It's not a puppy, sorry". Ha!
From lunch at my Aunt Carole's we headed to Bryan's parents for dinner. Surprisingly I find a way to large amounts of food at all Christmas celebrations no matter how many we fit into a day. Once again I did a horrible job of taking pictures at both of these stops.
Stormtrooper costume for Ezra!
Matchy matchy.
Maisie got all the chokers.
As fast as you can blink the day is over. Another wonderful Christmas in the books. I don't know about y'all, but I am now ready to skip the rest of winter and jump straight into summer. This cold gloomy weather we are having has got to go! All you winter loving people are crazy!!!
