Today we celebrated Sydney's 8th Birthday. It is not her actual birthday yet so I'm not going to go into how crazy it is she is another year older just yet.
She is still 7...even if it's only for a few short days.
Sydney has been so excited about her party. She has talked about it non-stop since she made her count down sheet 8 days ago. Needless to say the closer to the party we got the more energetic and silly she got.
Since there were no more days to count, she counted down the hours until the party started. We had family and a great group of kids join us for a soccer themed swimming party. Hard to incorporate soccer and swimming, but I think we pulled it off. The kids enjoyed swimming, pizza, cake, water balloons and more swimming.
Hopefully we sent everyone home worn out and sleepy!

I have been reading your blog for some time, but have never commented... and I wanted to let you know how much I love your family-centric, very positive approach to life. It's really uplifting and it's blogs like yours that I truly love reading for the reminder the life, CF and all is amazing! I am a 36 year old with CF, but am on the pretty healthy side of the disease and for that I am grateful. My brother is 31 with CF and Bryce really reminds me of Michael as a baby. Michael is very very healthy, despite some bugs here and there, but was active his whole life and that has helped in his disease progression.... an any rate, you and Bryan are amazing parents and have 3 beautiful happy children to show for it!! Thanks for putting all this beauty out there!
