Since Sydney has been going to soccer camp this week, we wanted to make sure Jordyn felt like she was getting to do something special too (she was too young for the soccer camp). On Tuesday Bryan took her to see a movie. Every Tuesday and Thursday the movie theater near our house has $1.50 movies during the summer, which is a total deal. They saw Megamind and Jordyn talked about her special date with daddy for the rest of the day. :)
This afternoon I took baby girl out for a frozen treat. We hit up the Menchie's near our house for some frozen yogurt. It was nice to spend some one on one time with my sweet Jordyn. We were the only ones to enjoy our delicious treats outside because a rain storm was moving in. We finished up just in time to avoid getting drenched.

Jordyn's treat is on the left. She had strawberry and banana flavors. Topped with sprinkles, M&M's and a cherry. I had the basic chocolate and vanilla swirl. Topped with M&M's, black berries and a cherry.
The cherries were Jordyn's idea. She loves cherries. She insisted that we each get a cherry and eat it as our last bite.
I love spending alone time with each of my littles. Bryan and I plan on making these type dates for years to come. They look forward to their personal dates and so do we.
