Wow...here we are at the end of January. I tend to think the beginning of the year will bring a much needed slower pace for our family, but clearly that is not how the Joneses roll.
Who needs down time??
Not us.
Nope.
We like to bring it...each and every day.
Aside from a week of snow days and a little vacation to Disney we filled the rest of the months with the following:

Just Dance parties in the basement.
Fun for the whole family although Bryan won't dance. He just watches the rest of us make fools of ourselves!

Soccer Sunday's. To keep Sydney going on her soccer skills over the winter, we put her in an indoor league. Some of the girls from her outdoor team played too. The girls have done great and this is a nice way to keep them playing until Spring soccer starts up.
Jordyn was Student of the Month at her preschool.
My grandmother's 88th birthday. We didn't know if we would be able to celebrate the special day as my grandmother became very ill over the holiday's. Her health was very unstable, but I'm happy to say she has improved greatly and is doing great.
A little cranky...but great! ;)
Linkin Park concert!
This was a birthday present to myself since the tickets went on sale the day before my birthday. I FINALLY got to see their show. I've missed them play in the past because I've either been very pregnant or just had a baby. I'm the huge fan, Bryan is just, "Yea. Their OK". I dragged him along with me and he ended up having a better time than expected. Our seats were killer...16 rows from right side of stage. The show rocked. They couldn't have picked a better setlist.
I think they picked it just for me. ;)~
The past weekend brought us beautiful weather. It was so nice to get the kids outside. They had a blast playing all weekend. We soaked up every minute we could. The weather around here has been so blah lately.
With that said, the blah weather returns tomorrow. :(
I am not sad to see January go. I love marking these winter months off the calendar. It gets us that much closer to Spring and that much closer to the end of cold and flu season.
Two months to go people!!

Your pics are so amazing! Love the photos of your grandmother with the kids. THat is so special that they are able to meet her and you that can share your kids with her. My grandparents all died right after college...always hoped I could share them with my children.
I am with you about being ready for spring. I hate this weather and am tired of S-N-O-w! Thanks for your support. we are hoping this week will be an "uneventful" culture results week! :)
I love your pictures too, the ones of the kids outside are awesome!
The Just Dance party ones made me smile, we love doing that too and Ian will never join in either.
I love that you guys are so busy all the time, when do you all sleep? :)
