The first week of June we took a fabulous trip to the beach. Honey and Papa took all of us to the beach for a week and we had such a fun time. Sydney LOVED the beach. She loved going into the water, jumping waves, playing in the sand, looking for sea shells...you name it, she loved it. Jordyn on the other hand could do without the beach. It took some coaxing, but we did manage to get her on the beach on most days. She didn't like walking in the sand at first, especially the soft dry sand. She did better on the wet hard sand. Either way, she didn't like spending large amounts of time on the beach. Jordyn is clearly a pool girl. ;) Bryce experienced many firsts on this trip (very exciting). He took his first dip in the pool and despite it being a little chilly because of the wind he was all smiles. He loved touching the sand for the first time and he enjoyed floating around in the ocean in his pool float. Bryce also picked up a few new tricks on the trip. He can officially wave bye bye. He has done it here and there before, but now he has it down pat. He also started clapping his hands AND...walking with his walker. On top of all these new things, Bryce had 2 of his top teeth FINALLY break through the skin. So exciting. A Jones family vacation wouldn't be complete without something going awry...Sydney, Jordyn and little cousin Maisie all got fevers for 24 hours. Each got their fever on different days, but it wasn't anything major thankfully. By the time we got home it was Mr. Bryce's turn to have a fever. His lasted longer than the girls, but that may have something to do with his new teeth coming in.
Well enough of the details I'll let the pictures show our fun. Thanks so much to Honey and Papa for a lovely trip. I can't wait to do it again. Wink wink. ;)
