Hello! No pictures, but I wanted to quickly update everyone on Bryce's visit to the doctor today. He went in for his 4th Synagis shot, which really is no fun for him, but it help keep him healthy so it's a must. Bryce got thumbs up on his lungs. Lungs are nice and clear. He got a thumbs up for how he has handled his colds. He got a thumbs down on his weight gain...or lack there of. He has lost a little weight since I was at the doctor last. I took him to the Pediatrician 2 weeks ago to make sure his cold was just a cold. Well at this appointment he weighed 14.2 lbs. Today he weighed in at 13.85 lbs. Not great, but not overly alarming at this point. He is growing great in length: he was 25" today! Basically Bryce's weight is a concern because he isn't even on the 10th percentile of the growth chart. He is under that. At one point he spiked up, but since then his weight has really plateaued and is now starting to come down. I was really surprised by this today because this boy eats and he looks thicker to me. He has been nursing 3 times a day and he does two 6oz formula feedings a day followed by cereal mixed with fruit and formula. For now they asked me to up his formula feedings so we are officially down to one nursing a day. My guess is nursing won't last too much longer. He really prefers the bottle anyway. :( Six months nursing is better than nothing right?! Over the next 2 weeks my plan is to stuff Bryce with as much as he can handle in hopes his weight gain picks up. Doesn't look like we will make our goal of 15.2lbs by clinic (on Feb. 2nd), but if he can pick things up I think it's a start. Overall though Bryce's health is doing fabulous so we couldn't be happier. 6 month shots next week so I will let you know how that goes...

So happy to hear little Bryce is doing good health wise. Aidan would give Bryce some of his belly rolls if he could! :)
I hear you on the breast feeding thing. It's a little heartbreaking to let go of early, but 6 months is great!!
Love and hugs to all-
